it's a puch moped and those pivots seem fine now many years down the road. I'd NEVER do this on a "real" motorcycle, since the end result is a less than perfect bearing alignment at the swing arm pivots, but with all respect. If you can visualise this it takes less than an hour to accomplish.

Open spreader by alternately wrenching nuts outward. Clamp rear axle drop outs so that they CAN'T spread. Assembled the spreader on the arm where the rubber would rub without removing arm from bike.

With the moderate speeds and forces these tires are going to see on a moped I don't worry excessively about "fitment". Both the 84s have Michelin m29s 2.75 x 17 mounted.
